Slow Grilled Ribs
Prepared by: David
Serves: 4
Source: How to Cook Everything, Mark Bittman
For the Rub:
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chili powder
Stir all the ingredients together in a bowl
Prep:
Rub the rub onto about 4 lbs pork ribs. Wrap in tin foil and place in the oven on 170 degrees for about 6 hours. This helps the ribs lose all of their fat. After 6 hours place them on the grill to finish them off, browning them for about ten minutes. Ideally, there won't be any fat left to cause them to flare-up.
